Leopold said the planning process will combine historical enrollment and birth data, facility-condition assessments, capacity and utilization analyses, and community feedback through meetings and online tools. "We believe in a data foundation with community input and community values," he said, describing interactive dashboards and task-force iterations that will produce options and estimated capital costs before the board and public in December.
The presentation outlined potential options such as consolidation, replacement or boundary adjustments depending on a school's utilization and condition; project cost estimates and projected operational savings will be provided as part of the recommendation process.
