The City Council adopted Council Bill 6, Series 2026, adding Section 18-5-30 to the Cherry Hills Village Municipal Code to prohibit the use of graywater and the installation of graywater treatment works.
Community Development Director Paul Workman presented the ordinance on second and final reading; Councilor Karen Fisher moved and Councilor Susan Maguire seconded the motion. The roll-call vote was 6–0 in favor. No substantive changes were reported from first reading. The ordinance establishes a local prohibition on graywater systems, consistent with the language presented in the meeting packet.
