High school leadership lists fall events: homecoming, FFA camps, pep band and robotics

Representatives from High School Leadership updated the board on upcoming student activities and extracurricular schedules for fall. They announced Homecoming will run Oct. 14–18 and Fun Night is scheduled for Sept. 26. FFA students volunteered at the Children’s Rodeo, sold programs at Roundup, and will attend District Soils on Sept. 25, Greenhand Leadership Camp on Sept. 19, and the FFA District Leadership Camp on Oct. 6.
The report also noted extracurricular program activity: Pep Band will perform at all home football games and at the Veterans Day Concert on Nov. 7; football, volleyball and cross-country seasons are underway; and the school’s robotics program begins in October. No budget or staffing changes tied to these activities were reported in the minutes.
