She reviewed the 2026 schedule (open book June 25, notices mailed June 16) and explained that, because this was a maintenance year, staff generally maintain last year's levels unless new construction, zoning changes or other activity triggers a value change.
The assessor also described the department's approach to classification, noting Department of Revenue feedback on greenhouse and hoop-house treatment and the importance of documented evidence when a property owner seeks a change. "We still review all sales," Sacco said; "we are not applying market value in a maintenance year, but we still review market analysis and data to ensure uniformity."
