District shifts retention pond to reduce impact on nearby yards, says county approved plan

S2 added the pond will be slightly deeper with a smaller footprint and that contractors were directed to save as many trees as possible; committee members discussed buffers and possible black chain-link fencing for screening. The district said the relocation still meets county requirements and includes an emergency overflow design that routes excess toward existing drainage rather than toward private property.
