Albinson elected Selectboard chair; board sets meeting schedule and official posting locations

Sharon Lucia, the town clerk and treasurer, called the Bristol Selectboard meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. on March 9, 2026. During the organizational portion of the meeting the board swore in Michelle Perlee and Jessica Teets as Selectboard members.
The Selectboard nominated and unanimously elected Ian Albinson as chair and elected Jessica Teets as vice chair. The board adopted a regular schedule of the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m., with meetings starting at 6:00 p.m. from December through mid-March. The motions passed unanimously by the members present (Joel Bouvier, Peeker Heffernan, Michelle Perlee, and Jessica Teets).
The board also voted to designate the Town Office, Bristol Beverage, Front Porch Forum, National Bank, and the town website as official posting locations and to name The Addison County Independent as the newspaper of record. Separately, the Selectboard authorized itself to sign orders, warrants, contracts and other official documents on behalf of the town and directed the Treasurer’s Office to process weekly payroll; that motion also passed unanimously.
