Vice Chairman Clay: leak test, pump estimate set as next steps to fix water losses

Clay, the board’s Vice Chairman, told attendees the association is seeing air and other problems in the water system and relayed that “OSWU suggested we need a leak test done to find where major losses of water.” He said a nighttime test is required and OSWU offered to help perform it. Clay also reported that Garcia and Garcia Pump is scheduled to visit Sept. 23 to provide an estimate on repairs and costs.
Judy Mangrum, the board’s Secretary/Treasurer, located existing maintenance procedures; Clay said he will update and post those procedures in the well houses. The board discussed the timing and logistics of a leak test and the need to identify and cap missing valves before testing begins.
