The board amended the extracurricular activities and extra-duty salary schedule to add a Project Grad position at $1,000 and increase high school and middle school concessions coordinator pay by $500 (Motion #9558). The board approved FBLA travel to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, June 28–July 2, 2026 (Motion #9565) and approved a Dual Credit Memorandum of Agreement with Maysville Community & Technical College for 2026–2027 (Motion #9566).
Facility use requests were approved, including the Nicholas County Fair Association’s use of NCES gym and cafeteria June 6–7, 2026, and Lady Chaos Softball’s use of the NCMHS softball facilities from May–September 2026 with one practice day per week and occasional weeknight use, excluding the dead period of June 25–July 9, 2026. The board also approved allocation of an additional Ag Education teacher position at NCMHS (Motion #9569). All motions passed 4-0.
