County Clerk Lori Aschoff provided a preliminary report on departmental budget requests for fiscal year 2026–2027 and said she and County Treasurer Karey are still finalizing a few departmental budgets. The board set the budget committee to meet July 30 at 1:00 p.m. to begin review of department requests.
No formal budget adoption occurred at the July 20 meeting; the July 30 budget committee meeting will commence the formal review process prior to upcoming budget hearings and adoption deadlines.
The clerk and treasurer will return with updated figures and recommendations as the committee proceeds through departmental requests.
