Butler County approves Visitors Promotion Fund grants for Bellwood Daze, Chamber website and Nebraska State Shoot advertising

Earlier in the meeting the board approved $500 to Bellwood Daze for event activities and noted the organizers may apply for an additional $500 for advertising. Later, after answering board questions, Butler County Chamber President Libby Sprunk received $1,000 toward a new chamber website. The board also approved $1,000 to Oak Creek Sporting Club specifically for advertising related to the Nebraska State Shoot.
All motions for the awards passed by roll call vote. Several other promotion requests were tabled for further review earlier in the meeting.
