Aging Partners details services to Butler County seniors; board tables a $27,786 subaward for review

Randy Jones of Aging Partners updated the Butler County Board on program activity and funding needs July 20. He said Aging Partners provided 43,407 services last year to 507 local seniors, including 17,134 meals (8,193 home-delivered) and noted Medicare Part D assistance saved Butler County seniors a combined total of more than $15,500.
For FY2026–2027 Aging Partners requested a subaward of $27,786, an increase of $678 or 4.24% over the prior year. Jones described the Butler County Senior Center as among the top in the area and commended newly hired Senior Center Director Jillian Boss for relevant experience.
The board did not act on the subaward at this meeting and tabled the request until August 3 to allow County Attorney Julie Reiter to review the funding arrangement and any contractual language needed for the subaward.
