Three Oaks’ Planning Commission reported two recent site plan approvals: Commune Market and TomCat Tavern received permission for outdoor patio space at the rear of their properties. Councilmember Jones delivered the update during board reports on June 11.
Separately, the Zoning Board of Appeals heard an appeal from Commune Market regarding existing rear parking. Under the zoning ordinance, existing parking cannot be eliminated; the board compromised by requiring Commune Market to retain four of its eight rear parking spots for employee parking while allowing the remaining area to be used for events.
