The village council on June 11 approved replacing the gravel path from Oak Street to the Carver Park pavilion with an approximately 120-foot concrete walkway. The work will be completed by the Department of Public Works and was approved unanimously.
Councilmember Graziano moved the item, and Hinman supported the motion. The council noted DPW capacity will be used to perform the work rather than contracting it out, and the plan is intended to improve access to the pavilion.
