Council adopts new STR waitlist policy, approves IWORQ subscription and raises STR fees

Three Oaks Village Council on June 11 approved a package of changes to the village’s short-term rental (STR) program including a waitlist policy, a three-year contract with IWORQ for a license-management system, and an increase in STR fees.
The council voted to adopt the STR Application Policy Waitlist, which will be supported by a web-based service provided by IWORQ. Council approved the IWORQ subscription on a three-year contract with an annual cost of $2,800 and a one-time installation fee of $900 to provide a Short-Term Rental & License Management System. Council also adopted Resolution #06-2025-01 to raise the STR inspection fee to $200 and the annual application fee to $700, effective January 1, 2026. Councilmember Jones asked about a reduced fee for hosted properties; President Graziano said the council could revisit that option later.
The package was moved and seconded during the meeting and carried unanimously. The changes were presented as committee recommendations aimed at improving administrative capacity to manage licensing and waitlists and to align fees with program costs.
