Board approves up to $15,000 change order for irrigation repairs tied to drainage project
Summary

District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project intended to preserve the project's original intent while making it easier for operations staff to make adjustments. MRI expects work to begin within two to three weeks.
Mr. Krebs reported ancillary irrigation costs from Irrigation Concepts: $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and about $1,300 each to raise seven to eight irrigation heads. The board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order to repair damaged wiring and raise seven to eight irrigation heads in a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000 (motion by Mr. Blumenthal, second by Mr. Schultz, with all in favor).
Staff will proceed with the drainage contract work and coordinate irrigation repairs under the approved change order and report back on scope and expenditures.
