Applicant Hardik Patel (Speaker 11) appeared in person to describe Vavani Boston LLC’s request for a common victualler license. Patel said the Chelmsford location will be a fast-casual Indian street-food restaurant with 49 seats, the franchise’s second Massachusetts location and the applicant’s 20th or 21st U.S. site. He stated the business "does not have any alcohol, and we do not, aim to get alcohol in the future."
Board members asked no substantive questions during the meeting and moved to grant the common victualler license; the motion carried with affirmative votes. The applicant thanked the board for accommodating the late arrival and the Chair extended best wishes for the business opening.
