Resident tells commissioners he feels dismissed by local providers and criticizes Bert Nash and TRC

During general public comment Eric Hyde of 1601 West 27th Street addressed the commission about personal struggles living with significant brain injuries and feeling repeatedly dismissed by local service providers. He said his efforts to contribute to the community have been treated as though they "don't matter" and accused local providers named in his remarks of poor treatment and discrimination.

Hyde named Bert Nash and the TRC in his remarks and said he had walked out of services after feeling abused and discriminated against. He emphasized he was not expressing suicidal intent but described exhaustion with living with disability and urged the commission to consider accountability and better support for people with brain injuries and disabilities.
