Council approves minutes and payroll, lists follow-up action items

At the Oct. 21 meeting the Mosier City Council voted unanimously to approve the minutes of Sept. 16, 2015 (motion by Councilor Emily Reed, seconded by Councilor Jacki Sterner) and to approve the September 2015 bills and payroll (motion by Councilor Derek Hiser, seconded by Councilor Peny Wallace). Finance Director Wilson reported two SDC payments in September and recommended reclassifying the Shade Structure as a capital project; council consensus supported that reclassification.
The meeting closed with a list of action items: keep the Electricity Project as a permanent agenda item (assigned to City Manager Kathy Fitzpatrick); research cost of a public undercrossing (Derek Hiser); research cost of surplus trucks (Derek Hiser); and find a pop-up tent for the tree event (Kathy Fitzpatrick). The minutes show no contested votes on these approvals.
