Volunteers sought for Mosier Tree Lighting; Reed to design poster, find Santa

Finance Director Wilson listed the volunteer tasks needed to stage Mosier’s annual Tree Lighting during the Oct. 21 council meeting. Council President Emily Reed said she would create a poster and locate a Santa Claus; she also offered to bring a generator. Councilor Peny Wallace said Barley Draught would play music, and volunteers including Henri Mattson offered assistance.
Councilor Derek Hiser agreed to meet with the Finance Director to create a task list on Friday. The minutes list specific assignments and a follow-up action to find a pop-up tent for the tree event.
