Selectboard defers decision on 12–14 Kimball Hill water and sewer connection

The Putney Selectboard on Oct. 29 deferred action on a request to connect 12–14 Kimball Hill to municipal water and sewer until members can inspect the building and review permits and zoning. Neil Madow, who joined the meeting by phone, said a potential buyer changed plans from two units to a single apartment. Michael Marquise, speaking for business partners, said there is a pre-existing sewer connection and submitted flowage information for one unit.
Selectboard Clerk Fletcher Proctor said more research is required on how the buildings are connected and whether existing permits reflect the current proposal. The board asked staff to arrange an on-site review and to consult Town Counsel before taking further action. Brenda Pratt offered to show the building to board members upon request.
