Town Manager Karen Astley presented the Fire Department report dated July 27, 2025, saying the department responded to 15 medical calls, 4 fire alarms, 1 motor-vehicle accident, 1 carbon monoxide investigation and 3 mutual-aid requests and currently has 29 members. Astley described routine apparatus and equipment checks, monthly testing and mask fit-testing, and identified hydrants within the district that need maintenance.
Astley also noted department training occurs on Tuesday evenings and that the department hosted a Community Supper on July 11. The Selectboard thanked the Town Manager and acknowledged ongoing maintenance and training needs.
