Town Manager: Proctor Place work to begin late July; pool opened June 17

Town Manager Judy Frazier highlighted operational and capital items in her report to the Selectboard. The minutes note that the Proctor Pool opened on June 17, a lamp post has been ordered for Main Street Park, and conduit for a yield-sign light was replaced by LaFaso. Frazier also reported that she met with Rick Reed, John Corliss and Earl Simpson to discuss the Proctor Place project and that work should begin at the end of July.
Frazier’s report also recorded that letters were sent to property owners in violation of town ordinances concerning lawn care, garbage and debris, that a quote for Marble Bridge repair is being sought, that Consumer Confidence Reports were mailed the week of June 22, 2026, and that loggers had equipment at the landing by June 26 and are coordinating a conditional-use permit with VELCO.
