At its June 22 meeting the Selectboard convened as the Board of Water Commissioners and then the Board of Sewer Commissioners to set utility rates for 2026–27. Jay Thorton moved to set the 2026–2027 water rate at $545.00; the motion was seconded by Bruce Baccei and approved unanimously. The board also set commercial water and sewer rates at a minimum of 1 EU and noted that the water rate had not changed since 2023–2024.
Later, as the Board of Sewer Commissioners, Jay Thorton moved to set the 2026–2027 sewer rate at $530.00; that motion was seconded by Linda Doty and approved unanimously. Minutes record the sewer rate similarly unchanged since 2023–2024. Both motions carried with unanimous recorded approval by the board members in attendance.
