Waldrop said residents have asked for committee updates and singled out the animal shelter and municipal court as items of community interest. "Would these committees... consider a monthly update?" she asked. She also described a constituent who suspected billing at city rates rather than the correct rate code and suggested a small audit be budgeted to confirm accounts and credit any customers owed refunds. The mayor and council acknowledged the concerns and said questions would be taken as input for staff follow-up rather than answered during the meeting.
