The Kiowa Town Council voted on March 26 to approve the town's 2024–25 audit after a presentation by Autumn Williams. The council also accepted a financial report from Tracy Reed of RSMeacham CPA & Associates that said sales-tax revenues through February 2026 were down while use-tax receipts exceeded budget and expenses were below projections.
Council members also approved financial moves: renewing a Tech Fee CD for $50,000 and transferring the remaining $28,424.61 into the Tech checking account, and closing a cemetery CD and moving a balance of $33,041.40 into the cemetery checking account. The motions passed on recorded council votes.
