The Town of Collbran Board of Trustees voted to authorize the Town Clerk to conduct the regular and recall municipal elections as a mail-ballot election and set the election date for April 7, 2026.
Mayor Lietz moved to adopt Resolution 02-2026 to designate the Town Clerk as the election official; Mayor Pro-Tem Price seconded and the motion passed with all trustees recorded as voting yes. The board then approved Resolution 03-2026 setting a combined general and recall election for April 7, 2026.
The board and staff discussed general election procedures and encouraged public participation in the upcoming election. The Resolutions formally place election administration responsibility with the Town Clerk and move forward a mail-ballot format for the April 7 date.
