Procurement staff read the list of firms that submitted bids for the county's fire hydrant repair parts and fittings solicitation, which was characterized in the opening as a roughly $267,000 item. Daryl McCook read the submitting firms: Consolidated Pipe and Supply Company; Empire Pipe and Supply Company; Ferguson Enterprises; Fort Line; and Stalene Water Works.
McCook stated the county will post bids over $250,000 on its procurement website and on OpenGov after verification. No award was announced during the opening.
