Cobb County procurement staff opened solicitation FY2627 on July 23, for water meter changeout services covering residential and light commercial accounts and confirmed a bid bond was required. "Our 1st bid today is FY2627, the water meter change out services for residential and light commercials," procurement staffer Daryl McCook said while reading the list of bidders.
McCook read nine firms that submitted proposals: Ardito Construction Company; Burmax Inc.; CW Matthews Contracting Company; HD Excavations and Utilities; HST Utility Incorporated; M and E Construction Company; RTS Water Solutions; Smith Pipeline Inc.; and UWS Incorporated. He reminded listeners that bids in excess of $250,000 will be posted on the Cobb County website and on OpenGov after verification.
