Council invites all applicants to master‑plan forum and asks staff to firm up dates and engagement framework

Staff reported the town received 22 applications for participation in the master development plan forum. Mayor Wheeler and several council members said they preferred to invite everyone who applied by the deadline so the forum reflects broad community participation.
"I'd like to begin and suggest that we invite all applicants that want to participate because I think anyone that's interested should be able to participate," Mayor Wheeler said. Council members expressed preferences for evening sessions to improve participation by workers and business owners and asked staff to coordinate alternative dates with the consultant, Treasure Coast/Dana, and to return with a proposed framework for the session so council can set goals, breakout formats and reporting procedures.
Staff will contact the consultant to identify alternative dates in November or early December, propose an engagement structure (possible small focus groups and report‑back), and return with recommended logistics and technology to support in‑person and remote participation.
