Selectboard previews draft personnel policy and rules-of-procedure revisions

Town Manager Karen Astley presented a preliminary draft of a personnel policy for Selectboard review. Selectboard member Aileen Tulloch told the board she appreciated the format, saying she "likes the format, that it's simple and easy to read." The item was introductory; no adoption or formal direction occurred and the policy will proceed through additional review.
On rules of procedure, Fletcher Proctor presented a red-lined draft and indicated the Selectboard will revisit it at a future meeting. Jeanette White presented a list of suggested updates to the rules. The board did not take final action on either the personnel policy or the rules of procedure during this meeting.
