Town Manager Judy Frazier updated the Selectboard on several departmental matters. She reported that Andrew Elrick began work for the Department of Public Works on July 1, that logging activity on the Florence property was paused because of rainy weather, and that storm response work after the June 26 storm included removal of downed trees and clearing culverts.
Frazier also said Mallory Gearwar had replaced Mary as Assistant Town Clerk, and reported the pool is busy with extended hours and now staffed by four lifeguards. The town did not take formal votes on these personnel and operational updates; they were presented as informational items in the manager's report.
