Putney issues RFP for town-hall renovation; proposals due Aug. 18

Town Manager Karen Astley told the Selectboard that the Town issued a request for proposals (RFP) July 18 for the town-hall renovation and solicited 15 firms; a three-hour tour with two construction management firms took place Aug. 5. "RFPs are due August 18th," Astley said; the Town plans to return to the Selectboard in September with a recommendation to award a contract.
Astley also said the Town submitted a Community Economic Development Strategies application to access potential funding through Northern Borders Regional Planning for the renovation. The manager asked board members to review submitted proposals and expect staff to provide a recommendation at the September meeting.
