Roanoke County schools celebrate multiple state champions at board meeting

Chuck Parker and coaches recognized Cave Spring student-athletes as well: Magnus Harvard won the Class 3 pole-vault title (reported winning height 15 feet 6 inches and noted as a new school record), Hassan Doukhore was recognized as a two-time high-jump state champion (reported clearance of six feet ten inches outdoors), and the Cave Spring girls soccer team was celebrated for winning the Group 3A state championship (presenters reported a season record of 23-0-1 and a final won on penalty kicks, 4-3). Coaches and board members praised the athletes' work ethic and the community support they receive.
