Assistant Town Planner Brittany MacGilpin told the Conservation Commission that a proposed car‑wash development is undergoing the Planned Area Development (PAD) review and that the Zoning Commission referred the PAD to the Conservation Commission on July 20, 2026 for input. The referral schedules the Conservation Commission to review environmental impacts and provide recommendations at the Commission’s August 4, 2026 meeting.
MacGilpin asked Commissioners to be prepared to discuss wetland buffers, stormwater controls, and landscaping during the PAD review. The referral does not itself approve or deny any permits; it establishes the Conservation Commission’s opportunity to comment during the PAD process.
