The Simsbury Conservation Commission on July 21 approved Application CC #26-12, a map amendment to clarify the Town’s Official Wetland Map for 30 Riverside Road (Assessor’s Map Block Lot H12 107 030, Zone R-15). Vice Chair Jason Levy moved to close the public hearing and Secretary Joseph Campolieta seconded; the motion to adopt the revision carried unanimously (7-0-0).
Assistant Town Planner Brittany MacGilpin and Certified Soil Scientist George Logan presented the proposed map revision and described the soil‑science delineation that supported the boundary change. The Commission’s formal finding noted that "the proposed revision to the Official Town Wetland Map has been delineated by a Certified Soil Scientist," which the body cited as the basis for approval. The approved action will amend the town map to reflect the delineation shown in the application file.
