Board reviews recharge, wellhead and wetlands maps and asks staff to document data sources

The manager noted that the recharge map shows much of "Keystone Heights is a high recharge area" and said the data likely came from the Saint Johns River Water Management District. Members asked for clearer attribution on map legends and, where possible, links or document references for the source layers. Staff agreed to refine the map legends and to attempt to provide the underlying source references where feasible (noting some GIS layers are proprietary and may not be linkable).
On wellhead protection staff said CCUA's initial reading suggested one identified well may be abandoned and that the system's primary supply point has shifted to Postmaster Village. If the well is confirmed abandoned, staff noted transferring it to the city could remove some development constraints associated with active wellhead protection.
