Board lays out timeline: consolidated edits, June transmittal and June 15 hearing tied to grant deliverables

Staff told the board that this meeting should complete the second half of the comprehensive-plan review and that consolidated edits will be circulated before the June meeting.
"We'll get these comments... assemble all active voice and then bring it all together," the manager said, outlining a plan to submit the draft (deliverable #2) at the end of the month and to use the June meetings to prepare deliverable #3 for the grant. Board members agreed staff should circulate a re-edited version and noted that if the board cannot reach consensus at the June meeting, staff will request an extension or delay transmittal.
The chair reiterated the June schedule and said the board would use the June 15 planning-and-zoning meeting for the public hearing/transmittal to city council as required under the grant timetable. Staff and the board agreed to continue making targeted edits and to return with the consolidated draft for final review.
