Board approves minutes after member asks to record 50/50 comment, asks whether Wiggins owns city land

"We have been presented with no evidence that a percentage other than $50.50 is of benefit," the committee member said, asking that the remark be added to the minutes. The chair called for a motion to approve the minutes as amended; the motion was seconded and the chair announced the minutes were approved on a voice vote.
During the same discussion the member asked whether Wiggins Construction owns property inside the city that would be affected by the comprehensive plan. Staff identified a planned-unit development called Sunrise Estates near Sunrise Park and a group of vacant parcels along State Road 121 behind Hardee's in the Fox Run area. Participants discussed rough acreage estimates during the meeting and agreed staff would not add land-ownership details to this set of minutes beyond the corrections requested.
