Staff confirmed the city has subsidized Home Energy Squad visits (50% discount) for several years and that the newly awarded green cost-share grant includes funding for 80 free Home Energy Squad audits in the coming program round plus rebates to encourage follow-on insulation and electrification work. Commissioners agreed outreach and coaching could help applicants and residents get the most from audits and grant opportunities.
