Board reviews Title I schoolwide waivers and school plans for 2026–27
Summary

"It authorizes the district to request a school wide program waiver from the California Department of Education for 4 existing title 1 schools... so they can continue operating as school wide program sites," the superintendent said, naming Doyle Elementary, Pacific Beach Middle, Stanley Middle, and Henry High, and listing newly identified sites Gage Elementary, Sandburg Elementary, Vista Grande Elementary, and Correa Middle School.
Staff said there is no fiscal impact associated with the item and recommended approval. The board moved the items and proceeded to vote as part of its consent calendar and related actions.
