Town manager presented a brief activity report that highlighted three priorities: the first Public Building and Capital Project Committee meeting to help accelerate engineering selection if voters approve bond questions; the inaugural IntraBoard Advisory Committee (IBAC) that will interview three firms in a public session on Aug. 10; and a volunteer appreciation event attended by nearly 100 volunteers.
He gave specific interview times for IBAC’s public sessions and named the three firms to be interviewed. He also thanked volunteers and community partners for supporting the volunteer appreciation event: "the 1st inaugural brand new volunteer appreciation gathering was held" and nearly 100 residents attended with no taxpayer expense, according to his remarks.
The board acknowledged the committees’ work and encouraged residents to view meeting recordings and participate as the groups move quickly on capital and operational priorities.
