Clerk Andrea reported staff are finalizing the proposed 2027 budget and preparing for the 2026 primary election; affidavits of candidacy are being accepted at city hall through the 28th at 5 p.m. She reminded council that two four‑year council seats and one two‑year mayoral seat are open and that seven applications were received for a part‑time administrative assistant position.
