S. Kinkade informed the Fire Marshal's office that his certification has lapsed and that he has been inactive; he requested removal from the active Deputy Fire Marshal roster. The Board of Fire Commissioners & EMS voted unanimously to release S. Kinkade from active duty as a Deputy Fire Marshal.
The board also recorded formal appreciation and gratitude to S. Kinkade for his many years of dedicated service, noting his roles both as Deputy Fire Marshal and as Fire Marshal in past service. The release will be presented to the Board of Selectmen as one of the items scheduled for July 21, 2026.
