Claudine Humber, a classroom manager, invited commissioners and the public to the free 4th annual MLK Day of Caring festival this Saturday, Jan. 10, with hands-on activities and free admission. She asked commissioners to help promote the event and left flyers with the clerk.
Pastor Lazarus Castellon of Addicted to God Ministries described a recovery home and food-distribution work that the ministry operates without formal funding. Castellon requested help securing a warehouse or storefront, a box truck, or a 15-passenger van to expand services; he said his ministry aided more than 400,000 families in 2025 through food pantries, deliveries and partnerships and offered to leave supporting documents with the clerk.
