Library trustees report high digital usage and list summer programs, museum passes

Maureen Wettig, president of the library trustees, told the committee that the library's digital resources are available 24/7 and that "as of June, Upper Moreland cardholders have borrowed more than 18,000 e-books, audiobooks, digital magazines, [and] streaming videos" this year. She thanked the community for support and highlighted the library's collection of about 30 museum passes that residents can borrow for free admission to regional museums.
Wettig also listed upcoming programs: a native-caterpillar workshop and screening on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 11:15 a.m., monthly Pokemon Club sessions for ages 5–14 on July 26, Aug. 10 and Aug. 24 at 6 p.m., a functional fitness class with a local studio on Aug. 7 and 14 at 10:30 a.m., and a sound-bath meditation session on Aug. 11 at 6:15 p.m. The committee accepted the report without questions beyond brief remarks praising participation in recent events.
