Commissioner announces committee procedure change; printed packets available

Commissioner Dimon Mullen opened the Finance Administration Committee meeting and listed officials and staff in attendance. Commissioner Jay Silverman told attendees that printed agendas and meeting packets were available on the table.
Commissioner Jay Silverman explained the committee process change, saying, "All commissioners will remain here. The 3 that are on that committee will talk about each agenda item and discuss it. When they're finished with their discussion... they will open the floor for other commissioner comments and public comments. However, the 3 committee members will be the ones making decisions if they will take action to move any item to the full board of commissioners." The announcement clarified that decision-making responsibility rests with the three assigned committee members for each committee meeting.
