The Town Board recorded the following actions at its July 7 special meeting:
Adopted Local Law No. 7 of the Year 2026 (Large-Scale Development Permit and Community Host Agreement Authorization Law). Motion to adopt by Deputy Supervisor Joseph Bick, seconded by Councilor David Capria. Vote recorded: Ayes 6, Noes 0. The board determined the Local Law to be a Type II action for SEQRA and the law will take effect upon filing with the New York State Secretary of State.
Approved a resolution authorizing a Community Host Agreement with Micron New York Semiconductor Manufacturing, LLC covering Fab 1 and describing a three-year, $30 million package (20 million in three annual payments and $10 million in Green Chips spending for the Town). Motion moved by Deputy Supervisor Bick and seconded by Councilor Capria; minutes show the motion was adopted by the board. The meeting adjourned at 6:17 P.M.
