Senior Planning Aide Jake Mericle delivered an update on several approved projects across the county, naming Harborview Park (Cape May), David Douglass Sr. Memorial Park (Lower Township), Beach Crossover and Amenities (Sea Isle City), Clarence and Georgiana Davies Sports Complex (Middle Township), Sandcastle Park (Ocean City), Eco‑Park (Woodbine), Heather Road Fishing Pier (Wildwood Crest), Roberts and Lincoln Avenues Beach Street Ends (Wildwood), Amanda’s Field (Upper Township) and historic preservation projects at HCSV.
Mr. Lomax asked whether Sea Isle City could change Creative Placemaking elements in the Beach Crossovers project; Mr. Hanson said he would contact the project engineer. Lomax also reported partners agreed at a stabilization meeting to remove one playground slide element at Woodbine Eco‑Park to address stabilization and ongoing maintenance concerns.
