Engineer shortlist rubric planned for Summer Street project; railroad crossing agreement reviewed

Robin Irving said the town should create a rubric to evaluate engineers for the Summer Street project and reviewed a list of engineering firms that have said they will submit proposals to be considered for the shortlist.
Robin also reviewed some details of the railroad crossing agreement needed for Causeway Street work this summer and said she had contacted the State and learned parking is prohibited on Main Street from Railroad Street to the roundabout. The board expects to use a rubric to shortlist firms and to address the crossing agreement as project planning proceeds.
