Jennifer updated trustees on outstanding change orders and said none over $15,000 required a vote that night. She told the committee PCO 39 (interior tile scope, $21,966) was still under review and that "we are questioning costs on this" and are not ready to recommend approval because subcontractor charges are being disputed.
On PCO 59 (plywood replacement and mold remediation) the team had negotiated the vendor price down from an approved not-to-exceed value of $42,695 to a final number of $27,530 while keeping the agreed scope, Jennifer said. Trustees asked for square-footage and per-square-foot breakout for tile and asked that PCO summaries clearly identify whether costs were due to design changes, unforeseen conditions, or contractor errors. Jennifer agreed to attach concise PCO summaries to the meeting minutes and to provide the additional detail on the tile quantities at the next meeting.
